FLORAL WATERS

Floral waters are obtained by the same method as essential oils, that is, by water steam distillation.

The steam, containing elements of the chosen plant, is condensed in a serpentine which is maintained at a cool temperature. The gathered liquid contains traces of essential oil and the rest is purified water.

The floral waters offered by ieS LABO can be produced at different levels of concentration of plant.
A concentration of 12.5% means that 12.5 kilos of dried plants has been used to produce 100 kilos of floral water.
The concentration most commonly required by our clients are 3% and 12.5%.

Upon request, and depending upon the season, floral waters can be prepared with fresh plants.
